Many producers have not been properly managing the sprouts in harvested coffee trees, which can affect the structure of the canopy of the plants and influence their future productivity.

The recepa is a pruning of the most drastic type used in coffee plantations. In it, the trunk is cut in the lower part of the plant, and, thus, the orthotropic sprouting, which will emerge, will be responsible for forming a new crown of the pruned plant. And for that to happen...
