Advanced Fertility and Nutrition course

Corrected soils, balanced fertilization and more productive crops.

Who is the course for?

The course is aimed at technicians with field experience, who already have a good foundation in coffee fertility and nutrition and who work in consultancy and assistance to coffee growers.

Course Objective:

  • Elaboration of a fertilization plan that provides the best economic and productive return for the coffee grower, based on knowledge of genesis, morphology and practical soil classification, strengthening the basis for balanced and economically viable fertilizer formulations.

  • Take the student to an advanced understanding of the nutritional processes of the coffee tree, understanding the dynamics of nutrients, from their entry into the plant, to the arrival at the final point (root, branches, leaves and fruits). The strengthening of knowledge will be achieved through the interaction between coffee nutrition and soil fertility, closing the cycle in the soil/plant system.
